Last Saturday I was invited to test the DOMINA 42 a Luxury Tender / Day Cruiser. Domina has a LOA of 13m (officially only 9.9m) is powered by triple 300 hp with and able to reach a top speed of 41 kn. The deck layout is amazing and very flexible in particular the forward lounging area with a huge table is marvelous, aft there is another sunbathing area which converts in dining area. At owners request the yard is able to install a sea terrace on both sides. Below deck I was impressed by the height in the walking area and the dimension of the shower and toilet. You could feel the strong background of the yard in yachts refit as the quality of the build was really high end. During sea trials the first think you notice is the silence and the comfort, secondly she is very good in route keeping without the need of any correction. The steering position is very well sheltered even in strong wind condition thanks to the huge forward glass. Impressive that not even one drop of sea water made it from the sea to the deck definitely a dry ride. The boat can be fully customized according owner needs.
