I had the privilege of visiting the #Maiora#shipyard in #Viareggio to discover their new #model: the Maiora 42 #Exuma. @maiorayachts

This 42.5m yacht isn’t just another build – it redefines how we experience life at sea. As the CEO of Next Yacht Group Sebastiano Fanizza and designer Giorgio Maria Cassetta explained, the 42 Exuma breaks away from traditional #yachtdesign:
⚓️ For the first time on a yacht of this size, all #guest#cabins – four spacious VIP #suites and a full-beam owner’s suite – are located on the main deck, offering plenty of natural light and panoramic views. The #upperdeck becomes a glass-enclosed lounge with fold-down #sea terraces and a spectacular glass-bottomed #pool that lets light filter below. The upper deck hosts a large open-plan #lounge with uninterrupted views from #bow to #stern – a unique solution that removes visual and architectural barriers.
The lower deck reflects an “ethical” design approach, focusing on #crew#comfort and functionality to ensure well-being, loyalty, and excellent service. There’s also a versatile space that can be used as a #gym, media room, or sixth guest cabin.

✍️The #interiors, created with ELIE SAAB Maison, bring the couturier’s signature elegance to the sea, while Giorgio Cassetta’s exterior lines combine dynamism and harmony. The four walk-around decks and the extensive use of glass surfaces create a seamless, immersive connection with the sea. The furnishings – featuring pieces from the ELIE SAAB Maison collection under the creative direction of Carlo Colombo and custom creations – highlight the unique character of this #project.
